I scoured the forums but can't seem to see anybody with this setup.

18x8.5 +35mm 18x9.5 +32mm

I plan to put 255 profile tires on the REAR and 235-245 profile on FRONT

I'm not really good at this and I hope the experts here can help me.

This is the widest and largest you can go with out rubbing or any modifications on 18" rims

Front: 18x8.5 ET45 with 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5 ET50 with 255/35/18

Oh so no go on those specs without mods huh. Even spacers won't cut it? I was planning to put this on a 128 and run on Msport suspension. Thank you for the response I appreciate it. I was wondering how to make these work though and how much work needs to be done...

Spacers make it worse by lowering your offset, not increasing it.

Do not try to make it work. Buy a proper wheel for your car.

The way to make it work would be to spend many thousands on body and fender modification, which is pretty stupid since you could then still run a better offset and fit even wider tires (like a 1M). If you already bought the wheels before you did your homework you're still better off just selling them at a loss and doing it correctly.

This forum is really littered with bad offset wheels and people trying to make them work, or running super narrow tires on their performance car because they didn't do their homework. Don't be one of those people.

Thank you! Weird because the wheels I saw were listed for a 135 with those specs, wonder why they would list that only for it not to work. But thank you for the input. I greatly appreciate it. I guess our cars love higher offsets as you go wider.

The 1 series is listed on those +35 and +32 wheels because people selling wheels want your money more than they want to help you get good parts for your car... Be suspicious of anyone trying to sell you something, in fact. I've found very little correlation between good advise and the ability to pop up a website and sell shit.

Try Apex wheels. They make excellent wheel sets for the 1er chassis.

These numbers are pretty conservative. See my signature.

ET50 is still too low for the rear. You want +58 to +62 or so, and then 275/35/18 is not a problem at all for common performance street tires models (PSS, Z2, etc)

I see so. All I want is to run wide PSS tires as my summer setup in the future, not 275 wide I guess but more functional than anything. I want to go 18in as there aren't a lot of 17in options out there that are within reasonable budget.

Also I just want to do it as a plug and play thing. Don't plan to mod the susp just yet and just stick w the Msport susp which is good enough for now.

So what's your best recommendation for this?

Like Freon said that set will not work! And I will also add that you can get a PSS o your stock set up if thats something you're willing to do. I ran the PSS 225F & 245R on stock 261M rim very comfortable although that was enough tire to help me from spinning you can go one size larger than that.

Running this right now with no rubbing at all...

- Fronts: 18x9 et40 with 5mm spacer (et35)
- Rears: 18x10 et50 no spacers

Fronts: 215/40/18
Rears: 245/35/18
