Intake Temperature Sensor Short Circuit to Positive

Hi Guys,

Just got my car (13' 135i N55) back from the Indy shop for valve cover gasket replacement. They failed the first attempt and I had to have them do it a second time.

Now that I got the car back, on a whim I decided to read for codes (CEL was not on) and I found that I have the code for TMAP short. I read about this issue with JB4 cars but I didnt have these codes after removing my JB4. What I'm wondering is, could they have caused this during the valve cover gasket replacement? If so, how do you think it would have happened specifically?

Thanks in advance!
