Interesting story about Savage BMW.

Basically, they totalled somebody's M3 during service that didn't require a test drive, then wouldn't own up to it... I remember this all unfolding, a handful of years ago.

Yah that is an old and painful story I'm sure for all parties involved. I have been servicing my e53 X5, e46 330PP, e46 330, e46 m3, e90 330, e90 335 and e60 550 there for the last 4 years and haven't had a single incident with them. i have developed great relationships with everyone in every department so i feel like home every time i walk in there. It's a smaller dealership but packs a lot of individual attention. Hope to see a lot of people there!

Savage BMW was my dealership in the 80's when they were located on Holt Blvd. I believe in the late 80's they moved out to the wind corridor to join the other dealerships. Nice. How many times a year do the Santa Anas sandblast the cars?

Kirk,

Are you in Cucamonga proper or in one of the outlying towns once known as Guasti, Etiwanda or Alta Loma? In the late 60's/early 70's, I went to high school in Alta Loma, later marrying then moving to Cucamonga around the SE corner of Arrow and Archibald, working for a dozen years at Maury Microwave. Moved to the pastoral roams of southern Oregon in 92, haven't been back to Mexifornia since and have no intentions to ever return. It is simple and simply beautiful 'up here' in Oh-ree-gone.:wink:

It's a painful read on the Bimmerfest forums. I know people that refuse to business with Savage b/c of it. Poorly handled incident to say the very least.

Rancho Cucamonga is now indeed a mix of cities...Its confusing who is what and where. But the place is now the most "attractive" place in the IE and considered the mini OC of the IE. Arrow and Archibald is still there

Is Fontana/Fontuky still a stand alone city or was it scooped-up in the bureaucratic meddling, uh, melding.
