HAS ANYONE DONE HALOGEN TO XENON CONVERSION????

This is an issue that will vary from dealer to dealer, unfortunately I can't give a simple yes or no answer on how a dealer will treat a particular problem with respect to warranty coverage. I have ample enough knowledge in automotive electrical & mechanical systems to know if my modification was a factor in a component failure.

I would like to get a hold of the BMW software and interface for programing the computer.

Ok well my headlights are at the post office! Ill be trying to install them tommorow morning once i pick them up! Ill be looking for a DIy on the bumper removal! so I can get to the bolts!
If anyone is intrested Im told there is 2 more pairs available Im waiting to see how much they will be but rest assured they will be under 1400$

i cannot belive my eyes!! just got back from NY and got my lights today and installed them with my buddy from work. I'm literally having an orgasm over my car right now!! i love it. I'll post more pics tomorrow when Im well rested

Did you get the computer chip in the package?

Because I got the chip and replaced it from halogen computer chip to xenon computer chip.

If you don't know what I"m talking about, I shall take picture of halogen computer chip and post it here tomorrow.(since the other chip is already installed so I can't take photo of it)

Can anyone who has done this conversion write up a comprehensive DIY? like what all do we need, where to get it, how much, what do the housings come with already, pictures, etc.?

i know its a lot of work, but it would really be appreciated by a lot of members here.

Dankim10: what computer chip did you get? I thought we just need the housing?

What about the wiring harness! Its a 12 prong connector that uplugs from your halogens and plugs into the xenons all u got to do is add 2 wires 96vette has a complete deal on page 4 of this thread
