looks like an amazing experience, thankyou for taking the time to put up your photos. Envious of the people who have the choice of taking euro delivery, wish here in australia we could do something similar

It was really a great post with tons of pictures...and now you are making me envy lol
Even though I am not sure if it is the Stelvio Pass...but to quote Jeremy Clarkson, all those "miles of asphalt spaghetti draped on an Alp" is simply dead gorgeous!!!!

Awesome. Munich actually could be quite boring. When you go ED, you have to go far.

I'm surprised to see McD hotel. I thought there are more BK then McD in Germany. I still remember I couldn't avoid BK and went in for lunch on my way to the Ring.

Thanks for the pics. I think I'll look for McD hotel next year.

I got a speeding ticket heading on Austria A12 to 180 toward Stelvio Pass the cops wave me over with other Germany car as well to the gas station as I approach a small town, he told me I drove 80km on a 50km zone and He said he fine me 35 euros on the spot.. That's the receipt I got for the ticket...

Made me decide to do this in 2010

I visited Germany with my wife about eight years ago. This made me decide to go again, probably with the European BMW delivery this time. I was born in Germany near Munich and speak German, but I grew up in the US. Your photos are fantastic. I had a silver 2000 323ci (sold), a yellow 2002 Z3 3.0i (sold), and currently have a red 2006 M Roadster. I can't decide what I want next, so my trip will have to wait.

Loved all of the photos - thank you. The Stelvio Pass was really something else. My favorites had nothing to do with your beautiful 135, they were the last two - of Jones Beach! Nostalgia trumps all (I grew up on LI).
