As for installation, it's a piece of cake. Take off the wheel. Put the spacer on the hub. Bolt back up. If they are 5mm spacers then they don't require longer bolts. Next size up is 10, 12, 15mm or possibly higher (though you wouldn't really ever need higher). Those are hub centric and they should come with extended lug bolts. Same installation. Pop it on and reinstall the wheel. If you have wheel studs (and they're long enough) you won't need the extended lug bolts.

i was surprised how little clearance a standard 208M wheel had on the front strut. i am running a 19x9 ET48 with a 15mm spacer and has more clearance than standard
The BMS spacers are great and i do recommend them, except the stupid writing they have on the head of the bolts.... |

FWIW, I'm running a square set of 18x8.5 ET52 front & back, with 245/35R18 RE050A RFT tires all around.
10 mm spacers on all 4 rims (so the effective offset is 42 mm). -2.2° negative camber up front. No rub, no fender modifications... but it's very tight... See http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1170959 Karl.

I seem to have the same issue when taking roundabouts corners at speed. The workshop I took it to wasn't much help either.

Yes should fit, depending on what width tyres you're running.
I run same specs on my 130i, so your 135i I believe has 10mm more track at the rears.

I ran 261 8.5" up front with a 12.5mm spacer (final ET39.5) and no issue on track or road with a 225/40 Pilot Michelin Sport 4.
Running a BBS RX206 8" (ET38) up front with the same tyres and it scrubs on occasion (when? with steering lock and sharp juts or dips, not your typical road condition) |

No wonder the F30, F56 and their cousins all have crushed strut tubes to allow more room. There must be a piston travel limiter inside though.
