Yes. I just called the 1800# and got that info.

Are you going to deliver your car @ PCD?

PCD stands for Performance Center Delivery.

You can pick up the car in Spartansburg, SC instead of your dealership

Because I am going there to pick up my car on 12/10.

They offer you a free night at Marriott and a driving class.

and my VIN# VM11001
I'm not sure the order numbers are sequential based on order date. my production number starts with 65 and production was completed last Friday.

Welcome again to the fam!!! the wait is gonna suck but it'll be worth it....for the wife at least

Unfortunately if the car is already in production, it's too late to make changes. Unless the dealership is willing to bite the bullet and sell that optioned car to another customer. Don't worry though when you get your own BMW, you'll option it out the exact way you want it. Cuz we all know once you get behind the 135 you wont want a Suby anymore

As far as the production numbers....dealerships have their allotted production slots. When a customer orders a car...sometimes all they need to do is modify/tailor a car they had already placed an order for. Hence why someone might get a number earlier than another...even if ordered on same day same dealership.

^^^thanks :-)

Not to knock BMW but my STI was very raw in delivery of power so when you used to hit the gas yo were immediatly pushed back into your seat from 1st through 5th gear.

343whp and 372wtq.

I need to hqve a BMW with similar numbers so i can make a deffinative comparision. Yeah i know the power delivery is totaly diff (not as raw) and also one car is AWD vs RWD so kinda hard to compare side to side but it will make sense to me.

Yeah if all goes well with this lease then i will deff be buying a BMW for my self in 36months from now.

When possible, your dealer should find the next allocated car they have in the pipeline that can still be modified to your options and get it to BMW AG. Mine was slated to be a Space Gray/Black coupe, changed a few things and the next day BMW AG updates it to my options. In this fashion I ordered on 9/7/10 and am picking up tomorrow 10/23/10, not bad at all really

I loved both of my subies. But you can't really compare them. STI used to be a bang for the buck. Now that it starts at $37k....not so much.

One thing i did have to get used to was my sense of speed. The rawness of the wrx/sti adds to the sensation of speed. So when i first started driving my 335, i really couldn't tell how fast i was driving.

Not sure about the n55, but the beauty of the n54 was that all it pretty much takes is a tune to get where you were with the STI. Throw in bolt ons and you're just shy of 400whp

hopefully others will confirm but I want to say that the 135 comes stock with summer tires. If that's the case I would get a set of winter tires.
