I've searched online for the answer with no luck. All i can find is vids of others who have done this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

So you want your angel eyes to blink (flash on/off) when the indicators are activated? Or just turn on when car is unlocked? Could you post a link with a video of this?

I would like the angel eyes to act as turn signal. Left flashes when I use left turn signal, and right when I use right turn signal.

Other mod I'd be interested is having the angel eyes randomly flash constantly like some pro race cars.

Thanks!

This vid shows angel eyes flashing with double hazard. But the idea is the same.

Firstly need to know what year model your car is?

Secondly, in the video the angel eyes are only flashing when hazard lights are activated, not when turn signals are activated.

Having Angel Eyes activated as turn signals (ASFAIK) can't be done on any BMW via coding, if you wanted to you could wire up some kind of relay between the indicators and angel eyes and that will give you that effect.

But i will look into it.

I wasn't sure if that was possible to do through coding. Any idea how to set up angel eyes to blink with hazards?

For the double blink hazard lights, in FRM, the parameter you need to change is DOPPELBLINKIMPULS, try changing it to "aktiv" or "wert_01". I couldn't see anything that referenced angel eyes as hazards. Try different "wert" values and see what you get.
For example "wert_01", "wert_02", "wert_03" etc...

I was able to change hazard blinking to double blinks last time I coded. Changed parameter to aktiv. However, they only double blink with key in car. Not sure why they go back to single blinking after key is removed.

I think the flashing you see in YouTube videos is something to do with the lights and the frame rate. I don't think the lights are flashing in real life.

Well- I did this today, without coding.
You need to put in extra wire between the Angel Eyes and your turn signals.

Pin 12 from the headlight connector- blue/green wire.

The only problem is that the Angel Eye on the outside is unfortunately less bright.
