Fitment questions: 19 x 8.5 ET 35 - and - 19 x 9.5 ET 43
Guys,
Will this wheel combo fit 1 series coupes without issues? If yes, what tire size would be suggested to stay as close to stock overall diameter as possible? This would be for a daily driver setup (all season tires) not for track tires. Would fender rolling or anything else be needed for this wheel combo to fit? Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for the reply. Would the issue be front or rear OR both? What would be the easiest way(s) to get them on?
Is there any camber adjustment built into the stock setup front and/or rear? If so how much camber adjustment is available stock? I was hoping to run 225-35-19 front tires and 255-30-19 (willing to go to 245-35-19 if needed) rear tires. What would be the minimum offset for 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 to fit the tires above? Thanks guys!

just fyi heres my friends 18x8.5 + 35 18x9.5 +33 235 / 265? not sure about the sidewall and this is stock suspension with w.e stock camber i had as you can see the front is somewhat o....k(not really) as its really pushing it, the rear is completely out of the fender so with your +43 the rears will be probably out the fender or very close to being out Sorry cant help you out with the camber but i assume if you're dropped you'd definately want to roll your fenders(prob dont need strech if you can run enough camber)

The issue would probably be both. The rear camber can be adjusted a bit, but you dont want to run more than -2*, with the front all I could get was -.65 I would run the 245 and you could probably get them to fit, is the car at stock height? if so this will look bad. What kind of wheels are they anyway, you'd probably be better off with 42-45 offset in the front and ~ 45-50 offset in the rear. |

Thanks for the pic t02t...very helpful! Looks from your pic that going from 33 to 43 would be a step in the right direction. Seems like +43 with a 255 or 245 would be getting very close and with a tad of negative camber just might work.
As for the front, that is the same offset I am looking at so I think even with 225 it would be pushing it and would probably need at least camber to fit. Hmm...

dicker, thanks for that...so 2 degrees can be had in the rear. That plus running a 245 seems like it would work. For the front it looks like it will be more of a challenge if the most - camber that can be added is .65. I assume there is some negative camber built in from factory and that you were able to add an additional .65? Was that .65 possible with no other mods?
The car will be lowered on Eibach Pro Kit Springs and Pro Kit Shocks. Thanks!

Tons of us run similar setups. Most happen to have 40et fr with 45et rears. But if you drive the car hard or occasionally on the track adding camber to the front won't hurt your front tire wear and then your proposed fronts would fit. I wouldn't try to add more rear camber, the tires already wear way too fast on the inside. I would get the rear fenders rolled.
So those wheels with 225/35 front, Falkens or preferably to me Toyo t1rs, and 255/30 rears with 2degrees camber front, 1.5 rear. Also add a rear fender roll and maybe pull them a little if you get a rub and you should be fine. But of course, I'd only do all this if the wheels were really worth it.

We generally do a 8.5 +40-45 front and a 9.5 +45-50 rear with 225/245 tire combos. 255 with a +50 rear. -Charles@VMRWheels

you can fit them with a fender roll and pull. or negative camber.
