Placing my order on Sat, anything I need to know?

So I'm heading up to see my dealer on Saturday to place my order for my ED 135i (May Delivery).

I've got my options figured out, but is there anything else I should keep in my mind when I get there? This is the second car I've bought from him, so I already know the drill, but this is the first time I've bought a car before its released.

Is your dealer actually taking one of his allocations to sell you at ED MSRP??? If so how did you manage that???

I actually did better than MSRP.

I already bought a 330i ED in 2006 from this salesman, and when I put my deposit down a couple months ago he agreed to match the deal I got on that car. Unfortunately for him, he was unaware at that time that there was no ED allotment, so when the news broke he was SOL.

My dealer is taking one of his allocation for ED MSRP as well... I just had laid out from day one that I wanted ED and he is working with me on it... not even a return customer, we're just neighborly here in Minn :smile:

I wouldn't think dealers would be too hesitant to sell a ED car at MSRP, they're just not going to deal as much as they usually do on an ED car.

Trojan and Jim...so are you guys saying your dealer agreed on European Delivery at US MSRP or at ED MSRP pricing?

I had a deal in place several months ago with an above-invoice price being agreed upon. My dealer is honoring that deal.

That being said, the invoice price is lower for the dealer too, so they should be honoring the ED MSRP not the US MSRP

My dealer agreed to ED MSRP. There was never any negotiation on that point, it was always the case. Like Trojan said, they should be honoring the ED MSRP unless they are fleecing you.:iono:
