My E87 mods and future mods (w/ PICS)
Hi everyone,
I own a 2007 e87 116i in a brown-grey color with the BMW Sports multifunctional steering wheel, 16" alu rims with runflat wheels (for now) and metallic interior trim. I also bought a roof rack to carry my skis to competitions (I'm a waterskier) - but it's only temporary as I can only ski in the summer. Here are the mods I've done so far and the mods I plan on doing. Mods so far: - BMW black kidney grills - BMW sports antenna - deleted the "116i" badge from the trunk - There's a grey line in the front bumper which I made black (to match the black kidney grills). Future mods: - Tinted windows - new rims - winter rims painted in gloss black - BMW Performance exhausts / weld dual tip on it (not sure though) - maybe lowering it just a little bit - LCI blacklines - spacers Short GoPro Hero2 edit: Tips or must-do's are very welcome

so we canīt see how your car looks now
ditch the run flatīs, gives you a mutch better ride buy some sweet weheels 17s or 18s`, replica allowed in belgium. but buy a brand. WSP, VMR ore something like this what is the sense of a bmw performance exhaust? weld a tip on and ready (just for optik) would do lci blacklines. also have a look at ebay. would buy m sport bumpers front and rear, pre owned and some replica front splitters, maybe some sport springs and you will have a clean hatch so start with the mods

I will buy new wheels soon! The exhaust is indeed just for the look of it (and maybe the sound a bit as well) so I might just weld a dualtip on it The LCI blacklines are on my list as well

Is it noticeable? I mean, I don't want like a blanket on my front like some cars have. I already have some little holes in my hood from rocks...

If u keep your car clean, no
Its good to invest in if you own car for long time. Just make sure you spend extra to get whole bumber and beginning 30cm of the hood. If you travel on highway/autobahn everyday, I recommend getting the whole hood too. But It just gets very expensive very fast to cover everything. So make a decision about if you keep your current bumper or upgrade to e87 msport, 135i msport or Bmw performance. If that's what you want then do just hood and 20cm on fenders. It will hide many defects too because it's shiny like Paint and that will blend 3m, lumar are good brands, ask for a brand with clear coat or a brand that will not yellow as fast(they all yellow over 6 years)

I will consider getting it done, but I don't know yet how long I will keep the car.

its good selling feature in used market, cuz its expensive cost, or people think it is expensive even if you do only 20- 30 cm hood & fender.
