sucks to hear/see!
if it is just body panel damage and if you are planning to keep it: get it repaired! if you were planning to trade in or sell OR if it has structural damage then go for a total loss. but whatever you do....don't get a corvette |

Sorry to see this. But... Why not just get a another(used) one? 2nd time's the charm!
Btw... love that yellow "crash wrap" stuff. lol Never saw that before.

Holy moly
Where did this happen?! I'm in Fort Lauderdale everyday. I would've freaked out if I saw a fellow 1M'er in that state. Really sorry that happened to you. Like others mentioned, I wouldn't want that car back unless it was sold back to me for a ridiculously cheap price. Good luck!

I would have it repaired. Would pay the difference to the insurance if it was considered a write-off. That would also avoid a "salvage" title.
What is the VIN? |

Uhm, wow. Really glad you're alive, though.
Hold off as long as you can for your next car. The Cayman GTS is about to be announced (January, I believe). You might find it's even more to your liking, coming from a 1M. |

Firstly, glad you're safe, that's of the utmost importance. The wreck, that's a no brainer. Some of the ones showing up at the salvage yards are shockers, yours if very fixable. Also, looks like there's plenty of folks willing to pick it up off your hands.

Bummer. Must be very frustrating.
But gladly you're ± OK. Good luck with the repairs or replacement car (as Dackel says, also look for second hand 1Ms).

Happy you're more or less alright. I wouldn't take it back if I were you, but come to think of it: The car is even more special in the States so, yeah I'd consider to take it back if the chassis/mech parts/engine are good enough(to fix) Cheers Robin |
