So, as I just read the entire post- seems somewhat unfair in price (as I don't know what each GB ran) But -
ex 1 - 1st few ppl bought at $200 bucks per order ex 2 - GB #1 - they got a GB price ex 3 - GB #2 - they got a GB price - thinking different than the 1st two examples above ex 4 - GB 4 up for sale. Hypothetically: Individuals at first post paid 200 2nd GB paid 175 3rd GB paid 185 So, to me, if you want the 1addicts business, electronicwoot.com should just post a fair price for all of us and let us order when when we are ready. Instead of this unfair pricing strategy, as it seems you are pricing GB's on the amount that sign up. So, for now I won't be upgrading - seems unfair. If I were a forum God, you should be listed as a commercial vendor, such as Gill with Tire Rack. (provides great support, great products, at a fair price for all) My 10 cents worth, and I'm sure others won't agree. But, just my opinion.

GP 8500K
EletronicWoot LED My honest opinion Brightness: At night the LED look good and better but during the day the GP thunders are brighter. Color: The LED are better as GP still has a yellow tint in comparison to the HID's when on. The LED is more blue than the HID tho. Value: By far the GP are the best bang for your buck. Overall: After buying both types I would rather stay with the GP and use the difference to buy a JB1. After saying that, I do prefer the LED look better but for the price it was not worth it. This is my honest opinion and the pics are from my parkade where the lighting is always the same. |

alot of the e92 guys seem to like this, and the example photos i've seen looked good even under direct sunlight...
i wonder if there was some installation error for jwdyeung's car? or maybe the e82 is different than the e92 (both do use H8 bulbs)

They're certainly brighter than stock at night, but during the day its just too weak for my taste. I probably swapped between GPs, stock, and RDs half a dozen times by now...
There's two optic channels for each of the angel eye rings and 2 LEDs, one for each. There's two notches on the base of the LED which when you twist it into the socket, it pushes the LEDs out into the optic channels. So wishful thinking would be that the LEDs aren't aligned to the optic channels, but doesn't seem to be the case as the two notches prevent me from lining the three prongs into just any three openings in the headlight. |

Hmm.. I agree, day time view looks pretty dim. Does not work for Canada, where daytime running lights are a must and if cops dont see them on a car 10 years old or newer, you will get pulled over!
