El Cheapo 1M Ebay Lip Install
Was looking to get a lip to protect the front bumper. Didn't want to spend 1K+ on a bumper than costs 500-600. (PS: I have a 1M conversion)
I purchased the lip: http://www.ebay.com/itm/151085156374...84.m1497.l2649 Pictures of the lip: The lip looks similar to the lip that cyba sells. The holes that are pre-drilled into the lip do not line up with the 1M bumper holes. Part of my bumper is lightly trimmed because I have an HPF Intercooler. I had to use trial / error to get the screw holes to match up. But it was a bit of a hassle. Pictures installed (Don't mind the 135i Winter Wheels):

Nice... I've been considering getting one of those myself...
So, now that you've seen it in person and you've installed it... Would you buy it again? Recommend it? I also don't want to spend a heap on a lip that I'm probably gonna snap off on a speed bump at some point... |

Would I buy it again? Probably not because the install is a pain in the ass because the screw holes were not properly aligned with the 1Ms.
I'll post better photos in the day time and also will let you guys know how it lasts haha

so did you have to drill new holes into your 1M bumper? What is the quality of the weave like? This price point is tempting.

I did not drill any holes into my bumper. I simply drilled
Holes into the lip to match the bumper. The quality is 5/10. I've seen better but I don't think it'll just crack. Most of all it should protect your front bumper.

The holes that I drilled to match the factory bumper. Probably a result of cold weather + 120 MPH test run haha. Had to pull over and remove it on the spot.

Did it crack from air pressure or did you snag it on something? |

Not sure if it's relevant or not but it seems that the Moto GP frontlip by Lightweight Titanauspuffanlagen requires a total of 10 screws to be installed properly... And the extra holes to be drilled into the bumper instead of the lip...

I saw that. But quality wise that lip seems to be thicker and higher quality material.
