Post Injector install (possible issue)
Hello gang,
I replaced my injectors and had them coded last weekend. I took my time and it took me 1 day to complete everything. I started the car right after and let it idle for 10 minutes and no leaks were detected at all. Monday on my way to work 20 minutes into the drive, I started smelling fuel. I pulled over asap and forutunately I did bring my 14 wrench to tighten up the fuel rail bolts that were leaking. I was able to tighten up everything and get home with no codes thrown at all. However, i did leak a good amount of fuel on top of the head. I cleaned up with rags and no leaks since Tuesday. Car drove perfectly since Tuesday, but when I got home today I decided to check my plugs. All the bottom portions of the plugs were soaked in fuel when I pulled them out. What do I do now? Where do I go from here? |

Or fuel in the spark plug bore, so as you remove the plugs the fuel dribbles down? Were the coil tips damp? The boots will swell up with prolonged contact with fuel
