windshield seal gap

I have a couple of areas where the windshield rubber seal has bubbled away from the glass, mostly at the top of the windshield. It doesn't leak at this time, but it does seem to be the cause of wind noise at speed.

Is this something that can be replaced without having to remove the glass? How likely is removal to lead to paint impairment and then issues with rust where the finish is no longer intact?

How is the windshield glass condition? Any chips or pitting? You may want to replace the glass, since the gasket can't be replaced unless glass comes out (correct me pls if I am wrong)
I just had my windshield replaced, and the gasket is included in that kit

Can you post photos? I replaced my windshield seal trim in my E90. No need to remove the glass.

Windshield is alright. Some pitting but not too bad and certainly no cracks or chips to qualify for replacement under insurance. I'm concerned that removal might scratch up the paint in the surround, leading to corrosion issues.

I'll try to get some photos up, but I don't have a great means to get them. Thank you both!
