Two tone interior change

Hey everyone I can't seem to find any information on this so I'm hoping you guys might be able to help!!

So I've had my 120i vert' for over 5 years now and love it but always wanted the two-tone interior and regret never buying the car with it...
Recently I have sourced a full OEM interior from a wrecker at a great price.

My question is, has anyone changed their interior to a two tone look and does anyone know if the side door interior is stitched/glued together in the middle or is it attached with plastic?

If anyone has any information on this it'll be much appreciated as it's been quite difficult finding anything.

PS - I have a full cream interior and wrecker has black so I want to recreate the 'lemon' look but with my darker tan..

Hey, I'm currently dyeing a spare interior I bought. The door and "side" panels in the back are glued in the middle where the stitching is. Otherwise they're just tucked into the gap in the plastic. Very easy to remove without damage

Thank you so much for posting your progress! It has now reassured me that it will be easy for me to insert my interior panels onto the new side trims!
If you have any photos of the finished product please post them! I'd love to see how it turned out!!
