Suspension info and weight

I don't understand suspension setup much, but is there anywhere or any threats that had this covered?

Also, what's the weight comparison between the M3 parts and performance suspension kit and other after market kits?

I will be focusing my mods on light parts initially so I can make sure my warranty won't be potentially void because of non-PP upgrade.
