Bell Star are excellent helmets... Lower in price than shoei / arai...

Akuma has some killer designs like below...

If it's a price concern, go bell star... Top notch shit... Even AGV (minus their top of the line stuff) has good fit and finish... Hey, if it works for Rossi...

Gonna be hard to find their stuff... They got into some issues because the "ghost rider" helmet originally used to be "f14 tomcat" and they had "stealth bomber" and "Apache" etc... They might've even gone defunct by now...

This website has up to date and always been spot on reviews (unbiased) for helmets AND gear... They already have the new shoei x14 reviews up as well... Any helmet you can think of, even Schubert and other foreign stuff is on here...

I used to go through a new helmet every 2 years... Don't get me started on gear either... Superstitious... Like, the second I bought a new suit / leathers / gloves, I would immediately put it on and lay down on the driveway or ground, and roll around before riding...

Thanks for the info brotherman. I'm far from superstitious. The only thing I wear are gloves, helmet, and an alpine star chest and back protector. Probably not the brightest crayon in the box, but it is what it is.

I was crazy with it. Road rash on a woman is not attractive! Rode with A/S gloves, jacket and boots even.
