is this 135i worth it?
is it worth it? and if not, how much you think it should be going for?
seems really expensive to me, especially since you can buy an 09 for that price... thanks! http://hendrick-bmw.ebizautos.com/we...px?iid=3919724 |

why would I buy that used 135i when a new one is about the same price? Maybe give up a doodad somewhere, but not much else. You still pay tax, tags, etc.
The question would be if you essentially get a "free" warranty to 100k miles, since I suppose it would now be CPO. That holds some value, and so long as you trust that it was broken in properly and not mistreated on joyrides, test drives, etc., it might be a decent deal... |

lol, just not wanting to get ripped off, that's all...
I dunno why people act rude in forums, beats me... I think it was a service loaner car, so yes, it was probably taken for many joyrides... |

doesn't make sense to me...have you optioned a new one for yourself? do that first, see how much it is used, then see if this is a good deal for you.

If so, I was not acting rude. Just stating a point. If you are not sure if the car is for you why get One (pun intended)? I cannot see paying on a car for years if I am not into it. If not, please dis-regard... |

You might be paying for the extra 2yrs/50000 mile warranty and all the pkgs. I would try at $40k and see what they say. Good luck if your gonna buy it.

At the avery least.
That car has premium package, htd seats, sat radio & ipod & sports packages. The original MSRP was at a minimum over $47k, probably. So for atleast $4,000 less, you are giving 6k miles, getting a cpo warranty to 100k & more options than what $43k would get you new.
You can't just say "well I can get a new one for $43k", you have to look at the total value package |

Also depends on what you WANT. If you just want a fun convertible to tool around in on weekends without spending too much, I'd strongly suggest looking at a new (or 2008 used) 128i convertible. You can get a very nicely equipped brand-new 128i convertible for significantly less than the asking price for that used 135i. And since you live in South Carolina, a big plus if buying new is that you can arrange to take delivery at the BMW Performance Center in Greenville, SC (at no extra cost). Even comes with a free one night's hotel stay & breakfast. |
