Dirty, but I couldn’t help but keep staring at this pic after I restored the headlights. Really refreshed the look of the car.

Killer job restoring the headlights, mind sharing your process and what you used?

Step 2: grab spray bottle and fill with water. Spray down headlight. Step 3: I started with 3000 grit sandpaper and went in ONE direction (I went parallel with headlight left to right). Kept the headlight wet with water when sanding. Roughly 5 mins worth of sanding. Step 4: I switched to 2000 grit and dod the same method of sanding, keeping it wet. Also roughly 5 minutes worth of sanding. Step 5: I sprayed light down with water one more time and wiped it down. Very, very thoroughly dried the headlight. Can use compressed air if you have it. This step is super important because of the next step…. Step 6: I used a ceramic coating and wiped the headlights in one motion (again, left to right) using those little fiber towels they come with, overlapping 50% each sweep. Not those spray on ceramic coating but the one that comes in a small bottle. I don’t think it matters which one you use. Ceramic coating is hydrophobic and that’s why step 5 is extremely important. Obviously, do this at your own risk as I’m not responsible for any damages 😁 |

Wait, you started with the finer grit (3000) and then to a coarser grit (2000)?

Black is never my first choice, though black sapphire is a good black, as far as blacks go. Have to make some sacrifices when finding good examples of cars that went out of production 10 years ago |

Here's the "Carbon Black picture" thread, if you're interested. It's not very long.
