I bet if they lower the price to $800 there will be more ppl on the GB. Like my self.

If they take too long I will spend the cash on something else.

I really dont want to read the whole thread but when does the gb close?

Icarbon has convinced me that I need to drive to miami for a hood, trunk, and mirror caps so needless to say my spending money is beyond depleted. I.e. the later the better (or it cant happen).

Once we have 20 it is supposed to be on, but we haven't heard anything from Alugelgen for a while. We are currently at 16 I believe, and have been there for a bit.

Hey guys

For some reason why haven't been receiving the notification when there is a reply! For those that mention it, we can lower the price to $800 but we`ll still require 25 buyers and not 20. We are nearly there though. I believe this will be the hottest wheels available for the 1-series.

can the first 16 ppl in these groupbuy pay now.. and you can start making the rims. I believe once the rims is getting close to done, or with more actual picture, more ppl will jump into the groupbuy, and the first 16 that pay can get the $800 price and whoever jumps in later will be $899

Yeah, how long of a wait are we looking at? Are you producing them now based on our GB count or waiting to get min 20 to start?

+ 1

I'd be keen to get the $800 price and have the guys who sign up later pay $899 or even $999.

The reality is these wheels are going to take 5 months to make and that's if we run into zero delays whatsoever and that seems a little far fetched IMHO.

There are 16 guys here who are willing to fork out their money upfront and will see no return for at least 5 months all for a total saving of $100?

There needs to be a greater incentive for the guys involved in the group buy. Not that it matters to me how much the next guy pays but it's satisfying to know we are saving more than $25 per wheel.

I was involved in the original group buy for the CSL's and they are being sold for virtually the same price now after the group buy is finished and they are in stock ready to ship out the following day.

ain't that a kicker and it alway's happens....^^^^^^^^. Alufelgen mentioned 5 months to start i hope he/they has been working on the REAL prototype front and rear so we can see the offset...especially the concavity appeal of this rim compared to the 3 series fit that was shown in the demo. The folks that have been waiting a month already should certainly get some benefit from the GB.......Rims are IMPORTANT mod for me and i will want to see the real deal/color/offset before i send in the cash. And STRUGGLE with the wait!!

Hey guy does anyone know that exact offset and size/width these are going to be?

I PMed alufelgen but they haven't gotten back to me yet and I would really like to know 100% what sizes everything will be before I put my name down on a pre-order list

BTW I personally think 19" would be best with 8" front and 9" rear. These would allow us to fit 225 and 255 respectively and not have to worry about fitment issues. Also 225 and 255 would be very flush on 8" and 9" rims and the tires will not be streched at all. Also this would allow alufelgen to MAX out the concavity which like someone mentioned before on street rims the concavity is something we need for looks. Look at Apex rims they are very flat and have no character but they were designed to fit the widest tires and I think are more used for track rims

agreed...^^^^^this would be ideal^^^^^^^^^^^^
the more CONCAVE the BETTER....That is what i loved about my Advans and hopefully Alufelgen can do this as well. And make them as LIGHT as possible.
I no Alufelgen mentioned no wheel packages......but if they did that would even make this better as i would be very interested in a rim/tire/tpms/balanced and packged READY to install at a GREAT price for this GB....make it a little more worth the 5 month wait.

going to have to drop out unless it gets up to 25. The price and look is good just cant justify that 4-5 month lead time and no pictures of the actual wheels yet in proper offsets. Sorry guys...I am still subscribed if it gets back up there

I would be interested once the wheels are made. i would be fine with paying the extra little bit if they were packed for shipping

Getting really frustrated with the lack of answers about this GB...and people coming in here saying they're interested once we hit 25.

Count me out.
