Difference between Coupe and Convertible Spring Rates

I was about to pull the trigger on some KW V1's from the classifieds. I checked out the part # and there is a different one for coupe and vert.

I called KW up and they told me that the spring rates are different for my car due to the 150lb of added weight in the vert. Other than that the rest of the kit is the same.

Is 150lbs of weight really that much different? Wouldn't a coupe with a passenger ride the same as my vert solo? I don't track my car, it is a DD year round. I currently have a broken spring and worn rear shocks so this deal would be perfect if the suspension will still work.

Talked to KW today and they confirmed that both kits are the same except for the spring rates in the rear. The rear spring's are rated for 75lbs more on each side for a total of 150lbs.

I plan on running the coils higher up so technically I think I am good to go?
