How long does it take to install just the rear shocks and springs?

Hi Guys,

I think I blew one of the rear after market shocks as the car is hitting the bump stop.

I would like to put the stock springs and shocks back in for both side of the rear.

How long does it take to do this and how hard will it be?

Thanks

You could get it done in an hour or so. Pretty darn easy back there.

Honestly, the biggest pita with the job is the removal and re-installation of the trunk liner to get at the shock top nuts. The rest of the actual work of removing/replacing the shocks and springs was easy. That should only take an hour or so if you have the right tools and know what you're doing.

Yup, simple job. Get a buddy to help ya speeds it up a bit. Less then an hour counting the time to get it up on jack stands.

Thanks everyone for the great information!

I took out the trunk liner and found the issue so for now, I don't have to fix it myself.

However all the information will be useful when I install the rear Dinan mounting kit.
