Ah, I see. That isn't an exact comparison since the ECS offering is the MFactory helical vs the diffsonline helical, but I see your point. If you're just looking for an off-the-shelf solution, that might be the way to go.

For me, I'm tracking the car, so I wanted to be able to customize the ratio and I wanted the Wavetrac diff, so it ended up being a little more. Whether it's $2000 or $2500, it's a big cost, and I'd rather get it the way I want the first time than have to take it all apart and do something different with additional cost in the future. Also, my experience has been that paying a little more to deal with experienced people (whether that's diff builders, garages, etc.) pays off in the long run as I have more confidence in the work, and it is helpful that there is someone specific that is responsible for the work. That's just personal experience though.
