Window tint in Texas

Went to get my inspection this morning, car passed with flying colors except....... they said my window tent was too dark, the law changed from 17 to 25 (whatever that means). Has this happened anybody else, or does anyone know I work around around this?

Roll down your windows first or find an inspection location that is relaxed.

See https://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/vi/con...windowTint.htm

It has been 25% since 2009. I have clear 70% UV on the windshield and 30% tint all around - never had a problem.

I'm going back tomorrow, I can't find anything about a law change.
