JB4+P3 Gauge = CEL and Engine Malfunction?

Hello,

Just installed a P3 vent gauge to my N55 135i. It is stock other than a JB4. When driving home the car would not boost over 1-2psi and eventually threw an "engine malfunction" warning on the iDrive system. I turned the car off and then on and these codes came up on the P3:
2dd6
2dd8
2c90
318d
2c57

Any ideas? From my reading it seems the P3 just interferes with my JB4 and that may the cause. If it is, I have a P3 for sale!

They will fight over CANbus bandwidth so you have to run the P3 in boost only mode with no CANbus to use it with a JB4.

I found out in a similar fashion that the 2 are not compatible, though mine would only sweet the gauges, reseting itself, while I was driving. No boost or CEL issues. Mike is right, the 2 fight for Canbus info and prevent each other from doing their jobs.

I figured as much after doing a bit of digging. Thanks for the confirmations though.
