135 at Seattle dealers?
Have any 135's shown up at the Seattle BMW dealers? If not..anybody know when? I have ordered mine in Vancouver and I figure they will show up in the US showrooms before Canada. They are due up here in early April. I am excited to see one in real life.

Nope, and most of the dealers around here are jerks. I ended up getting mine Yakima WA because they were the only dealer that would take my money to guarantee the 1st allocation spot back in Oct. It should be in LA next week and hopefully in Yakima soon after that if not like everyone else close to March 22nd. I love going up to BC and Bellingham, if I do get the car early I will PM you guys and will head up that way.

You'll have to wait till late Spring/early summer and do a run up the Sea to Sky to Whistler. They really improved the highway and it can be lots of fun. Don't go near it till late Spring because you will get rock chips galore!

Last time I did that about 1.5 years ago the construction was crazy, I was thinking it was for the Olympics. I do love that drive, it is one of the most beautiful in all of NA. I will definitely drive it this summer than if it is almost done.

Yup
BMW Seattle has a 128 parked out front.
I'm really surprised how much I like it. I didn't drive in it, but only sat in it and looked around. I was walking back from getting groceries (yes, that's my grocery bag in the foreground) and couldn't resist taking a look. The biggest surprise is how good the forward visibility is. I'm 6'2" and it's much easier to see out of the 128 than it is out of a 328/335 coupe. The windshield is more upright, so I don't have to slouch to see. I just wish I needed a second car, because this would be it! |

In addition to the Sedona Red 128i, they now have a Cashmere Silver 128i convertible, and a Sapphire Black 135i. The 135i has the sport pack and the premium pack. All three are automatics.

Has anyone else had a negative reaction to Sedona Red? For the entire time everybody was bashing the color I lurked in the shadows, silent, as I thought Sedona looked knida' kool, perhaps not for a 1-Series as the body is not flattered by the color though it seemed fine for a custom or hot rod. Having now seen Sedona 'in the flesh', my opinion has turned 180 degrees, the color is gawd-awful hideous maybe-orange brown rust. Like the 1-Series, Sedona Red is not particularly photogenic, in that, the color is not accurately conveyed in Internet images. Quite a surprise.

And that's just what I did yesterday. You're going to like the thing as the 135 is just plain frighteningly fast.:roundel:
