Great! I'll be in the Graphite 135i with door magnets #135.
My best time at this BW course is 2:12.5, but any time < 2:15 is pretty good for a fairly stock 135i. See you there! I'll be driving up the night before (Thu.). |

I have driven that config a few years ago, but never in my 1. It'll be interesting to see what it'll do, and it's my first track shakedown with the suspension tweaks. If I can get in the 2:13 range this time out, I'll be happy. It's more of an R&D outing, to re-learn the track and car. The speed will follow. It'll be cool to hang with a fellow 1 driver and compare notes.

I was at Buttonwillow last December and ran that configuration. It was my first time on a track and I had a great time! Going counterclockwise, the "offramp" was the toughest turn for me. I couldn't see the apex cone entering the turn without looking down and out the driver's side window.
