Coding rear fog lights as DRLs

My car: 2010 E87 M-Sport.
My coding software: Bimmercode, and NCS Expert.

I have managed to code various lights to illuminate as DRLs by identifying code descriptions in NCS Dummy and then using Bimmercode expert mode. However, i can't work out how to also illuminate rear fog lights (NSLs) as DRLs. (Brake lights are illuminating, but i would like both brake and fog to illuminate). To be honest i don't think it's available, even though they illuminate with side markers and low beam.

Thanks in advance.

Mick

I hope it's not available or doable. Fog lights are extra bright by design and should only be used for very low visibility situations. E.g., fog.

I mean fog light (operating as a tail light) as DRLs.

On these cars (in the UK anyway) the fog light module has a dual purpose. During normal use without any coding it operates as both a tail light and a fog light. The FRM module supplies more voltage to the single bulb element when the fog light switch is operated.

The separate brake light module also operates in the same way, but glows brighter when pressing the brake pedal.

Now, *that* makes sense

I didn't realize (giveaway spelling there) that was an option on UK cars.

I don’t understand, if you’re saying cars in the UK do that, why are you trying to code it (and unsuccessfully)?

If you have already searched through NCS Dummy and tried various settings in Bimmercode's expert mode without success, it's likely that this particular coding option may not be supported for your specific vehicle.
