It is next to Bedford Autodrome, GB's own mini 'Nordschleife' where you can I think still take your car around to try it out. Some of the track is sadly now used to store unsold cars including ev's that fewer people want lol The track is owned by ex F1 driver Jon Palmer. His son? Jolyon is an F1 journo.

I'll be a little disappointed to see Checo go if that's the path forward, but maybe andretti will put him in a caddy in 2026?

I don't think Yuki is the answer. He's been in an F1 seat long enough to see that he doesn't have the trajectory of a top 5 driver. He definitely doesn't have the mentality, his anger issues come out as terrible driving on track. Even if he pulled some reasonable drives, he's going to clash with Max bigtime. Lawson is a little more of a wildcard in that he doesn't have the seat time, but I think his potential is much higher.

In the old red bull way, they just promote whoever raced in torro rosso the longest, and then if they crumble they replace with next in line, and so on.

The recent way seems to be pick someone with money / marketing value and then race them to the bottom of the pit.

After 4 years of experience for Yuki and less than 1 for Lawson, the two of them are barely distinguishable. The trajectory is just not the same. Yuki is plateauing. Throw him in a RB, sure, he'll be out in a year. Not like Honda is going to pay RB to keep Yuki on the team in 2026 when there's no contractual relationship.

Lawson looked stronger in 2023 than the end of 2024.

Yuki's testing did not look overwhelming and while it's hard to compare times, they all threw down a fastest lap and he was significantly slower than Hadjar, and really the entire rest of the field. Granted, Yuki got Checo's car, which as I've said, has been crappy for the second half of the year, so maybe that's why Yuki's time was so far down from the other rookie in the RB.

The vid didn't appear too bad with no ill treatment in the turkey pens, in recent times and before in Europe the heads were chopped off while still alive and that was it.

It's both hilarious as it is disgusting. The story in short is they make those turkeys so fat, that due to small genitals the can't reproduce the normal and natural way. So their actually is a job, to give the turkeys a "hand" and in that way the can reproduce by IVF/artificial insemination......It's a shame the video isn't in English or subtitled .
