Fastest BMW in Izmit Korfez track !

Hello everyone,

I want to share my success with all of you and give information
about how awesome 1M is
To begin with Izmit korfez track is located in Turkey and it is small
track (1921 meters long)


Last week's track day i did it in 51.964 second and this is the
fastest BMW time, actually it is the closest time to SuperSport
cars and faster than some of them. I didnt expect that from 1M
but it surprised me and everyone. I am planing to pull my time
under 41.5 with KW Clubsport next month.


My car has Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system , Bmc carbon airbox and
Pzero Corsa tyres 255/35/19 front 285/30/19 rear (no ecu tune).

Just continue the good job both there and on the wonderful ex-Formula 1 track in Istanbul, I know you can do better there as well; there is only one BMW that you need to better, the track prepped E36 M3

By the way, there is a typo about your track time; I understand that you want to improve it to 51.5 seconds, not 41.5.

About your driving; seems pretty quick lap to me, probably close to what you can get from the car as it stands assuming the last full lap was your fastest lap. I noticed one obvious error which probably costed you around 0.2 seconds because of the correction it needed, so in a good day, good surface and weather plus with your next KW suspension set up, you might take it well under 51.5 too.

Question: How are the PZero Corsas and are you keeping them on the car for daily driving as well?

Guys, don't forget he is the owner of one of just three 1Ms in Turkey (rarest in any country as far as I know, Turkey's population is 75 million, 1M MSRP locally was 134,500 EURO, equivalent of 181,500 USD!!) and probably one of our youngest members (not as young as Jay-K, he is illegal), he could probably have any other car but he is loving the 1M passionately and sticking with it, so kudos again.

Great video, and thanks for sharing your experience with a truly rare vehicle in exotic Turkey

I run a very similar setup (KW CS and PSC+) , but our circuits tend to be 2000-4500m length, and I certainly can't bully E46 CSL or Lotus or other agile vehicles!

Maybe @ 2:17 you can be a bit smoother there: It looks/sounds like a tad of understeer? Dunno. I wasn't there off course.
