Interior Sun Roof Sliding Cover

Top of my interior sun roof cover is fairly dirty. Anyone know how to take it out or access it for cleaning?

Over 300 views and no one has experience with this, thought it would be something not done often.

Pretty sure you would have to drop the entire roof liner. Sounds like way too much work.

Thanks Mighty. Keep forgetting that modern cars are engineered to go together quickly on the assembly line and disassembly for repair/cleaning is a low design priority.
