Best exhuast setup
Hey there, getting Catless headers, what’s the best sounding full exhuast I can do to to add onto this Catless setup? I want best sound and power (ik power gains are pretty insignificant with NA)
Planning on going the custom route, just trying to figure out best setup, originally I was thinking Catless merged into a single 3” pipe that splits off into duel 2” pipes exiting for that duel exit style! Ah also a half pipe welded just after the headers to bring back some backpressure to get torque back from headers. |

What did you end up with? Also, backpressure is not applicable to today's engines. This was a thing for carbeurated engines and is irrelevant when talking about modern engines. Not sure how this isnt widely known yet but do your research.
As far as exhaust, im running catless headers and simply swapped my factory muffler for a vibrant bottle muffler and enjoyed it for a while but im looking into a custom set up now as I have the means to do so. Going from stock to catless headers and even leaving stock muffler on youll be surprised how many smiles itll put on your face. Let us know what you end up doing. |
