  • Get some BBS or CSL 18" rims and yoko A048 semi-slicks for the track.
  • Depending on how the electronic diff locking works:
    • Drive from Geneva to Hartge for a quaife LSD and possibly chip tune.
  • keep heading north to the Nurburgring and Spa to see how the 135i shapes up against my 350Z.

You should be able to - my Benz dealer didn't have a problem when I asked a while ago.

Clear bra is a thin piece of plastic (like Xpel, 3M, Stongard) that goes over your front end or headlights/foglights that protects them from stonechips. Pretty effective, but looks like sh*t after they've been on a while, and also tends to attract dust, so the lines where they protection ends tend to get obvious after a while. I did Xpel on the Benz; works well. Probably need to have it redone, but the car's 6 years old now, and would be using that as an excuse to get the 135.

Products have improved quite a bit in 6 years.
They now have a clearcoat type finish layer.

With the size of the 1er I'm hoping that I can get the whole hood done. = no line

Absolutely! Don't ask but tell them you don't want it.

I've done it before. You just tell them flat out not to do it and - in my case - it wasn't a problem.

^+1... it's your car not theirs.

- most of the dealers in our area are using plate frames for their name, so no biggie.

Have the neighbors look up and ask how they dropped a V8 sounding engine in a small BMW they have never seen!

Normally it's not been a problem when I told them that I didn't want it, although once I ended up in the General Manager's office. However, after I demanded payment for advertising they finally relented.
