Hello to all!

Hi,

New member here, extremely excited for the spring.

My name is Zack, and I am a sophomore at the University of Southern Californi (USC). Currently am driving an 06 GTI MkV, which I have heavily modded, and absolutely love.

Unfortunately, the car just isn't working for my lifestyle, and my parents hate it. (Anyone who has owned a VW knows they have a reputation for electrical problems).

I plan on ordering asa from my local dealer, who is awaiting the order sheets (I am #1 on the list :biggrin: )

Possibly looking into the European Delivery program, as my dad does a lot of business in Germany and makes trips there a few times a year.

Now that the introduction is done, I just want to say that I am a very involved member on golfmkv.com (Screen name is GTI Trojan), and I am no noob to forums. So please, though my post count is obviously low, treat me with the respect you would like to be treated with :headbang:

I am hoping because the 1-series is in a different price range than the GTI we might have a more mature crowd on this forum :smile:

Yes and no from what I have seen. Mostly yes.

I know....im only a few days into the wait, and I am so excited.

I am choosing color at this point....im stuck on a few!
