Quaife is $1450 plus freight for your 135i with automatic trans. All you need is the differential portion only, unlike the manuals cars that require the complete unit.

You said the speedo will still calculate speed correctly with the shorter gearing, correct?

What's the different between Wavetrac and Quaife?
Quaife, lift a wheel = no power to the ground
Wavetrac fixes that? they're like a alternative to clutch type diffs?

No Wavetrac is available for the 135i automatic. However, you can get a Quaife for $1450 plus freight.

So the initial charge is $2800 for the stock ratios, and then once we install it we send our old unit back and get the refund?

Any warranty on these?

Our shop car has the upgraded sport 3.46 ratio.

It's not too much gear at all, it's just right for around town, quicker off the line, and through the first 4 gears.

I am a touch confused. I have a 135i - 5/08 build, so I assume welded diff, that means I pay the 3595 for replacement from you?

If I remember correctly from another thread on here the guys at Wavetrac or HP Autowerks have been able to machine the welded diffs apart. You should only have to pay the lower amount unless you want to keep your old diff for a total of two complete differentials.

The waitlist should be shorter when we receive the cores back from some of 1addicts and E90post members.

3.46 Wavetrac is always ready to ship in 3-5 days.

For the auto all you need is the center portion, not the complete version. However, if you would like a complete version, we can build one for you as well.
