Just got a 09 black 135i. Saw a few white ones on the freeway on the 280. Was thinking about maybe getting a chip soon for the vehicle. Any one in the area have a chipped 135i, or a bavarian cable to clear any codes?

Doubt you will find anyone willing to lend you a BT scanner. Most people have the enthusiast version and that only allows use on different 3 VIN numbers. Would be surprised if someone gave up one of their VIN spots for free. You would need the professional version which is most likely only found at a shop.
Congrats on the car. Plenty of events in the area (BMW meets/gatherings, BMW CCA event and autocrosses, etc). Check out the "spotted" thread to see if a fellow 1addicts members spots your car. |

If you just want to be able to clear codes, the latest PROcede can do that as well. Not sure if you have already done your due diligence on tunes, but Vishnu is nearby (Danville). I suggest contact them and set up a test drive while you are deciding what tune meets your needs.
