VIN Decoder for Option List?
Does anyone have a link to a good VIN decoder that provides an option list for a vehicle, without having to signup for monthly fees?

To be honest, for me when buying a car, it is difficult to find a VIN code and break through the vin reports free car service. There are models that have VIN "hiding" in other points of the car. The easiest way, of course, is to look at the documents, in particular in the certificate of registration of the car, this code must be entered.

We have a sticky here called VIN decoder... that Dackelone started and someone should add the one in this thread to it. I volunteer Afam28 since he provided the link to the one here. I added one recently to the sticky that AFAIK still works.
Most of them don't work any more, but I think we should try to keep it updated so there is a place we can go that has current, workable VIN decoders (and to honor our friend Dack). |
