What’s your rpm at 90?

Looking to buy an e82 and was curious what your rpm is while doing 90mph in 6th. More specifically wanted to know for the 128i but would also like to know for the 135.

This is a great site with a pretty darn good calculator.
https://web.archive.org/web/20200722...GearRatios.htm

The 1series is all the way at the bottom of the list and the link for the calculator to the left so you can plug in your specific ratios and let it compute everything. A very useful tool when I was swapping my diff in the e85 changing gearing. Set the cruise mph to 90 and it’ll give you what 6th should be for your ring/pin gearing to trans gear.

Don't forget - the speedo reads 3-5% high. To get the actual rpm's at true 90 mph you'd have to use a GPS on the dash that will read the speed more accurately.

Except for Nevada, are there any States that allow 90 mph on the highway anymore?
In Canada, 110 km/h (69 mph) is considered a high speed limit.

We had recently a US driver who tried to argue his way out of a speeding ticket because he claimed he thought the sign that read 90 km/h was intended to be 90 mph!

90 mph = 145 km/h.

no I just plugged in for other gears besides 6th and just changed redline. I’m close to that when I changed to 4.10 final drive on the e85 going 75-80 cruising.
