BUT the C-class has noticeably superior quality than either. Again compared both side by side.

Agree totally , saw one yesterday as well and had way too many badges and looked cheaper imho than a 135i coupe.

Got a test drive on tuesday though..shall see..,

True a 135i coupe does look more classy and more expensive. I also prefer the interior and driving position of the 135i.

The A45 is a better performer though. You gotta hand it to AMG - they have done a great job.

What about the new S3 boys and girls?

$64,900 + ORC Absolutely loaded, inc LED headlights and a set of B&O speakers. Just add APR and off you go, manual OR STronic, same $.

Just drove it - exhaust note and overun was awesome - its very loud for a stock car and noticable with the windows up and aircon on.
Gearbox and awd seemed excellent.
Accelaration was ok, maybe a bit better than a stock N54 but nothing compared to the thrust of a tuned one..

But getting back into the 135i my car felt much much nicer and refined. And honestly its seems like a downgrade going from a coupe to a hatch....

Will wait for the M2 for my next test drive....
