Ok, Toronto, where can I get my snows put on?
If you know of someone downtown who is good, please post or PM. I got my snows from Gil and I'm ready to put 'em on soon.
Then off to the warmer climes to avoid winter altogether. |

What that means is the outer layer of silica or whatever it is they used to make it grip ice really well wears off when you get to half tread depth. I experienced this on previous Blizzaks I've had.

Yes, it is only the tread pattern that's left so it ends up being a regular snow tire.

So it's important to time those winters so we don't drive them too much on bare pavement. The other problem is our summers being sport tires also wear fast. Are we burning our tires at both seasons?

Put it on yourself. The problem is you need to find low enough jack if you have the sport pack. I ended up using the jack from my 540 and a tiny 1/2 ton to jack up one side, do both wheels. Was quick.
Of course, you didn't say whether you got rims or just tires.
