radio suddenly turned on when car was off

I got home tonight, pulled into the garage, turned off the stereo, turned off the car, then kept both doors open while I wiped down the seats and inner door panels. All of a sudden the stereo turns on, and starts playing the song off my USB. I was nowhere near the stereo controls when this happened so I didn't accidentally turn it on. The only option my car has is M-sport pkg.

Any ideas what may have happened (other than the usual gremlins or ghosts)? I just don't want to come back to my car one day and find the battery dead because the radio decided it felt like turning itself on.....

I'm getting a new CIC for a similar problem. The car kept "waking up" through the night and would run the battery down over the course of a few days sitting in the driveway. I've never had the problem you are experiencing though.

Wonder if this is similar tomme coming back to locked car with lights blinking?
