LCI Blackline Taillights Fitment question
Hi, question for all who have the lci blackline tail lights.
When installed properly, does the inner curve area sit completely flush with the body of the vehicle? Or, does it stick out a bit ever so slightly just beyond the body of the car? I've scoured the internet for pics/videos and some are completely flush, but most stick out just a bit by a couple millimeters. Am wondering if I should torque the bolts super tight to have them sit flush? I feel it would be over tightening to make them fit flush but maybe i'm wrong.. Thanks in advance Last edited by tonig; 09-01-2019 at 08:41 PM.. |

Do NOT overtighten them! The threaded posts can snap off very easily, you can snug them up well but I wouldn't go super aggressive on that. If anything, make sure to have pushed it in to the body of the car well and then tighten the nuts.

I checked my Blacklines on how they are mounted. The tail lights do stick out further than the metal trunk lid or the body of the car. The Blacklines stick out about 2mm's further out from the trunk lid. Here are some pics. How this help you out.
