I think by tomorrow they'll be at the port. The longest wait is usually getting onto a boat or the boat ride over here.

My CA told me that it takes a minimum of 12 days to cross the Atlantic. Maximum he has ever seen is 18 days due to storms. The time period to sit at the port is what killed me. Due to the recent hurricane and tropical storms in the Atlantic, my car sat at the port for 2 weeks! It finally made it on a boat and should be in Spartanburg, SC by the 11th and my dealership will have it at the latest the 15th. This is true torture. . . My new radar detector is just dying to get used.

That is i assumed too that west coast goes via panama canal and to san diego? I have been in Baltimore, MD all weekend and this week and cant obsess about my status of my car cause i am busy at work...which is only getting in the way!

My car is in transport to the Port today! Hopefully i will meet my car in 6 weeks?? ahh!

I think they said that for 2010 they would be going through the Strait of Magellan for the cars going to the west coast...

I ordere through bmwsonline which is a dealer on the east coast, so I got invoice pricing but have to pay 500 for shipping it to a local dealer for pick up.

My car is still at the port waiting for a shipping vessel. I doubt it will make it onto the ship that's leaving tomorrow (if there is one). I'm going to guess it'll get on a ship next week sometime.
