The FSD's are self-adjusting determined by the road, correct? I think overall im a little uneasy bout messing with this car's suspension, I had neuspeed springs and fsd's put on my Mk5 GTI and not sure if i was real happy with how it turned out, the ride was harsher and sorta clunky. It could have been a not so perfect install by my previous shop but I dunno, just seemed like all that money spent into it really didnt make much of a difference..least on that ride.
depends on what springs you use. it would not be wise to use fsd with H&R at least imho.

Here is a review comparing Sports and FSDs with stock 330Ci springs. I think the review is slightly biased to the FSD because I would add that the Sports are more predictable.

About matching to springs, I think FSDs work great with stock 135i springs and with 135i Performance springs, which is what I have. It gets a little iffy with firmer springs - seems like about half the people who try FSDs with H&R Sports think the combination is too bouncy.

Is anyone able to tell me if the stock 135i springs for an MY08 with M-sport (UK/ Euro build for Australia) are the same as the stock 135i springs for the US market (with or without M-sport)?

I know there's a few differences in stock US cars to what we have Down Under and want to make sure my comparisons are good, as I'm considering fitting a set of FSD's.

FSD's ride a little better on the street, and yellows are a little more precise for the track or AutoX.

I'm about to have FSDs, an E93 M3 front anti-roll bar, and Conti ExtremeContact DWs put on the 135. I am after a Grand Touring setup only (no track days or autox for this car). Hopefully I'll know pluses and minuses of that setup by the end of the week.

Great choices! My experience is that once you've added stiffer springs, you need to replace everything. But I'm guessing your approach will work out. Be sure to let us know.

Cars back from the shop - I'll do a writeup in a separate thread titled 'FSDs & E93 M3 Front Bar' (to respect the OP and not hijack this thread - which is what I normally would do. ; -)
