Tyspeed + APEX

Here’s another custom built, proven, track-ready BMW from the Tyspeed garage. Nick‘s E82 135i HPDE car is ready to be unleashed after a clean restyling and plethora of work underneath. Featuring a set of 18″ EC-7 wheels wrapped in Hoosier R7 Slicks, this track car has the grip needed to carve corners at New Jersey Motorsports Park and beyond. See more details on this build below.

YIKES!

Just to address- The wavetrak was chosen and installed because the #1 request was to remain streetable- or able to be driven to the track.

The helical style differential is an excellent option for and LSD in place of a clutch type as it has a basically unlimited service life, does not chatter, and offers seamless power transfer between the wheels.

We install them in many customers cars and have great feedback- dont knock it until you try it!
