Yay, we're number 2.
The 1-series came in 2nd in the "Entry Premium Car" segment in the just released J.D. Power's and Associates latest revelation, the APEAL Study.
The winner of the category was the 3-series. Tied for 3rd was the Acura TL, the Audi A4/A5 series and the MB C class.

How is the E Class coupe considered "Compact"... It's bigger than the Camaro and the Camaro is listed as "Midsize." The people who do these reports are crazy.

For mid sized car the VW Passat came in third!? We traded a 6 month old Passat for our 128 because it was already following in the steps of the Passat it replaced, long story, don't ask. We were stupid. What's the saying, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Never have a VW again unless its air cooled and old

Would have been better if we were in one of the "sporty" classes. But don't put much cred into this as it's clear they don't have a clue how to classify cars.

JD Powers are the whores of ratings. They stop at nothing for a buck. Bought a new house in Woodstock Georgia in 2001. The builder proudly displayed that they were ranked number 1 in customer satisfaction. A rinky dink little builder in Cherokee GA. And after I got to know all 65 owners in the subdivision as an HOA board member I found out everyone disliked the builder and had their own story of having been lied to by them. I knew then that JD Powers was a sham.
