**Riss Racing** 3 inch CATTED downpipes (Prototype)

Hi everybody,

Here are the updated pictures of the downpipes. The 3" design will give it the same flow characteristics as the catless downpipes. Fitted with a high flow Cat, you won't have to worry about a CEL at all. We have fitted the downpipes on 3 cars already and everything went great! We are going into full production on these downpipes immediately. We will reduce our cost for a PRE-ORDER list which will be about $200 cheaper than the retail price when we have all our sets.

1. POWER? Catted downpipes will still create tons of power. Our cats are located near the bottom of the downpipes. The reason for this is to continue to build boost up top with 3 inches of flow and putting the cats in before the sensors so we don't have a CEL.

2. DYNO? Have not dynoed the car with the downpipes yet. Hopefully get the dyno finished this weekend.

3. AVAILABILITY? Around 30-45 days for full production. Will keep you posted on the time frame as we get closer to release.

4. 135i? Yes, it will fit the 135i as well.

We should have the final pictures within a few weeks. Any comments/concerns please pm myself and/or Anthony. Thank you!

Yes, high flow cats up front. Gives a bump in HP/TQ and stock 2ndary cats. If you're looking for the most power, catless is probably the way to go. Our Riss Racing Catless downpipes have made over 60whp on a tuned N54 already.

+1. I prefer catless for power but some states have very strict emissions laws. This gives an alternative. Even though the Primary cats are covered by the shroud, most people shy away from catless in case someone looks under the car.

Catted DPs are all done guys! I have driven the car with them feels very strong. Close to the same feel as catless just can't hear the turbos as much because of the cats. We will have videos and sound clips up later today. Thanks!

Video's and sound clips don't do as much justice as it sounds in person. Very different sound compared to catless.

The cats we are using are very high quality which also means very expensive for us to purchase. We can use a lower quality cat and keep the price lower but thats not the way we do things. The price for the pre-order is $1099 and available for pre order now. The final production Catted DP will be seemless and polished also available in coated. Full 304 stainless steel flange to flange. Three 02 bungs per pipe for 02 / POST 02 and wideband. I have been driving with the catted for quite some time now for R&D and they feel great. A little less power than the Catless DP, and a little quiter of sound. For myself I will be going back to catless because I'm a HP junkie, and the exhaust note is amazing. Perfect sound for the 335i. But we made these catted DP for those guys that wanna save the trees, and have the HP too! Thanks!
