0-60 with SSTT or JB3

Achtung Addicts!

I will like to know some 0-60 redlight racing times with clean SSTT or JB3 ....

No DP´s / catback ect.

Is it 5.0 sec. or 4.9 sec. with SSTT?

Thanks!

Terry's runs were on a stock 135i with JB3.

Hey guys,

Decided to do a little 0-60 testing with the 135i tonight. On a private road of course!

Car is an automatic, and completely stock except for the JB3 beta. I filled the tank with 91 Shell to get more weight over the tires, but even so the run flats were just not up to the task and would spin through 1st gear.

I started off running a handful of 4.4s. Then I decided to launch a little easier and got a couple 4.3s, and finally a couple 4.2s. There may be a 4.1 in there with a cool down (doing 10 back to back runs got the oil temps past 250), but without better tires I don't see it going much quicker than that.

For those not familiar I use a Performance Box GPS based device to measure 0-60, which is more accurate than the average GTech or FX2. It's similar to what the magazines use. Runs were done back and forth on the same stretch of level private road.

Most of my 335i runs are on drag radials with more mods so its hard to give an apples to apples on 135 vs 335, but I plan to bolt the drag radials on the 135 soon to see if I can dip in the 3s. The 335i has run a best of 3.5 0-60 with all its mods (JBX, downpipes, intake, lighter rims) on 100 octane.

professional drivers in someone else's car can get that, what you can do with your car is not clear. people have been known to run 14 sec quarter miles, if its their first time at the strip.
